Dunes 3, First Light

$0.00

When we went out to the famous dunes in Death Valley, it was very dark and very cold. We had to walk for about thirty minutes to get to the heart of the complex where there weren’t any footprints. This image (and the next one) captures dawn’s first light peeking above the horizon and painting the dunes in gold. This combination of light and shadow lasted for less than a minute!

All images are printed with archival pigment inks on lightly textured fine art paper. Prints are sealed with a UV filtering varnish, mounted on board and floated in artist-made frames, ready to hang.

Available in two sizes, signed and numbered on reverse, with three standard frame finishes: Maple, Black Walnut and White.

18 x 50 x 2 inches, edition 1/5, $2,300
24 x 68 x 2 inches, edition 4/5, $4,500

Framed artworks ship in custom, foam-lined cartons. Cost depends on image size.

UPS Ground shipping costs vary by destination. I use Pirate Ship, a UPS partner that delivers surprisingly low rates.
